GHK-Cu is the copper complex of GHK, the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. Laboratory publications investigate this complex under defined experimental conditions. Those findings need to be distinguished from the identity and analytical results recorded for an individual research-material batch.
One primary study in fibroblast cultures
Maquart and colleagues reported a study of GHK-Cu and collagen synthesis in fibroblast cultures in 1988. The authors observed a collagen-synthesis response that was not explained by an increase in cell number. This is evidence from the experimental culture system described in that paper, not a demonstration of clinical performance or a test of Vault’s supplied material.
Primary source: Stimulation of collagen synthesis in fibroblast cultures by the tripeptide-copper complex glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine-Cu2+, FEBS Letters (1988).
Current GHK-Cu catalog entry
Vault’s standalone catalog entry is GHK-Cu 100mg lyophilized powder. Use the product page for its listed specifications, current availability and the corresponding batch documentation.
GHK-Cu is also listed as a 50mg component in GLOW 70mg and KLOW 80mg. A study of GHK-Cu alone does not establish the behavior of those multi-component formulations. See the GLOW and KLOW composition overview for the ingredient comparison and its evidence limits.
Read the report for the batch being evaluated
Match the batch identifier and sample description in the COA database. Review the laboratory, analytical methods and results shown in that report. Do not infer an unreported test or a biological outcome from a purity result.
