Research context

In a study of fibroblasts isolated from rat Achilles tendons, researchers measured growth-hormone-receptor expression and downstream JAK2 signaling. A separate study examined tendon explant outgrowth, cell survival and migration through FAK-paxillin signaling. These findings are specific to the experimental systems studied.
